Public camera reports, agency contracts, network-sharing policies, and the evidence needed to assess community impact
What this tracker does
There is no single public, authoritative, real-time Flock camera feed. This page therefore joins the strongest available public sources without inventing a camera inventory. Use the linked maps for current reported locations, and use the public-records sources to verify agencies, contracts, sharing rules, and dates.
A concentration of cameras in a majority-Black, Muslim, immigrant, or other minority-majority area is a signal for investigation—not proof of discriminatory intent. Any disparity finding on Dataforus must use a valid population/roadway denominator, comparable coverage data, uncertainty bounds, and evidence about how deployment decisions were made.

01 · Open-source research database
EFF's searchable database documents police technologies, including automated license plate readers, by agency and community.
Search Flock records02 · Community camera map
Crowd-sourced reports can help locate cameras, but each point must be treated as reported until independently confirmed.
Open live map03 · Documented network and policy reporting
Public-records reporting explains contracts, national sharing, access, and civil-liberties implications beyond the physical camera count.
Read documentation04 · Vendor statement
Flock's own privacy and access claims are included for comparison and are labeled as vendor claims, not independent verification.
Read vendor policyCamera location
Report the source, observation date, coordinates or nearest intersection, and whether the point is confirmed or community-reported.
Deployment context
Separate camera counts from contracts, retention periods, sharing agreements, and actual query/audit records.
Demographic analysis
Use aggregate Census/community context only when the denominator and geographic boundary are explicit; never infer an individual's identity or protected status.
Method rule: a reported location is not automatically a verified location, and a geographic disparity is not automatically discriminatory intent.
